Jamie Gibson

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Mr Gibson is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kingsgate Consolidated Limited. Since joining the company in 2013, he has been instrumental in shaping corporate strategy, managing investor relations, and successfully restarting the Chatree Gold Mine.

An accomplished corporate professional, Mr Gibson has previously served as Chief Advisor in the mining portfolios (metals and coal) for the Australian Government, bringing extensive trade and investment expertise within the Asia-Pacific region. He is a Director of Akara Resources Public Company and made significant contributions when he served as a Board Member and Vice President of the Australia Thailand Business Council.

Mr Gibson holds a Master of Business Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Global Business Practice from Macquarie University, as well as a Diploma of Management from the Sydney Institute of Technology. He is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mischa Mutavdzic

Chief Financial Officer

Mr Mutavdzic is a highly experienced finance professional with over 20 years’ experience in corporate advisory and capital markets within the mining sector. His previous roles include corporate finance and investment banking roles at Deloitte and Investec where he worked extensively with mid-cap mining companies on funding, M&A and corporate transactions.

Mr Mutavdzic brings to Kingsgate a deep understanding of the Company, the Chatree Gold Mine and the Nueva Esperanza Project gained during his tenure at Investec – Kingsgate’s funding and banking partner until 2021. Since then, he has continued to support Kingsgate as a consultant and successfully negotiated Kingsgate’s debt funding and worked closely with management on key finance and corporate initiatives.

Mr Mutavdzic holds a Master of Management (Finance) from Massey University and a Master of Science in Mineral & Energy Economics from Curtin University (WASM). He is a CFA Charterholder.

Jillian Terry

General Manager, Technical

Ms Terry is an experienced geologist with over 40 years’ experience across mine, project, resource and exploration geology including throughout Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Laos.

Ms Terry commenced her career as a mine geologist with Newmont Holdings at Telfer Mine and previously held global technical positions including Vice President Geoscience and Vice President Technical Capability at BHP, prior to joining Newcrest Mining as Head of Mineral Resource Management. She was also a non-executive director of Lundin Gold in 2023.

Ms Terry holds a Bachelor of Science Honours (Geology) degree from the University of Melbourne and post graduate qualifications in Mineral Economics from Macquarie University. She is a Fellow of the AusIMM and has been a member of the JORC Executive Committee since 2011.

Racquel Kolkert

General Manager, Geology

Ms Kolkert is an experienced geologist with over 25 years of experience spanning mine operations, projects, resource development, and exploration.

Throughout her career, she has worked across a diverse range of geological settings, commodities, and mining jurisdictions. She has held both senior and global leadership roles in geology with companies including Kinross Gold, Turquoise Hill (acquired by Rio Tinto), and Glencore.

Ms Kolkert holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geology from the University of Tasmania. She is a Fellow and Chartered Professional (Geoscience) of the AusIMM and currently serves on the AusIMM Chartered Professional Program Committee.

In 2018, Ms Kolkert was recognised as one of the 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining (UK) for her contributions to the mining industry.

Jade Cook

Company Secretary

Ms Cook brings broad experience across a range of organisations in both inhouse and outsourced capacities, working closely with Boards, senior management and stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

She is an Associate of the Governance Institute of Australia and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Corporate Governance.

Bob Kennedy

General Manager, Operations

Mr Kennedy is an experienced mining industry professional with over 40 years’ experience. He has extensive knowledge in processing, maintenance, training, and management skills, with a focus on process plant performance with particular emphasis on safety, environment, people, quality, productivity, plant production efficiencies and cost.

Mr Kennedy’s career history includes working with Gold, Copper, Nickel and Mineral Sands in Australia, Cote d’Ivoire, Madagascar, Indonesia, Mauritania, Laos and Papua New Guinea.

He holds an Advanced Diploma of Leadership & Management, Advanced Diploma of Work Health & Safety and qualifications in Metalliferous Mining Operations (Processing).

Bronwyn Parry

General Manager, Corporate & External Relations

Ms Parry is an experienced corporate professional who has worked across strategic communications, marketing, stakeholder engagement and advisory functions most recently at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Previously, Ms Parry was a Community Relations Manager for Kingsgate’s Bowdens Silver Project in 2013.

Ms Parry holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science (Geology) from Macquarie University and a Masters degree in Strategic Communication from the University of Technology Sydney. She is also an Associate Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

Cherdsak Utha-aroon

General Manager, Sustainability

Mr Utha-aroon joined Akara Resources in 2011 and currently oversees regulatory affairs, and community relations and government engagement as General Manager, Sustainability.

Prior to Akara Mr Utha-aroon spent nearly three decades at Thailand’s Department of Mineral Resources across a number of roles across geology, policy and international coordination. Previously he was also a policy and planning expert at the Gem and Jewellery Institute of Thailand.

Mr Utha-aroon holds a Masters degree in Geology from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada.
