Ross Smyth-Kirk OAM

Executive Chairman

Mr Smyth-Kirk was a founding director of the former leading investment management company, Clayton Robard Management Limited and has had extensive experience in investment management across the minerals and mining sectors.

Mr Smyth-Kirk has been a director of a number of companies over the past 45 years in both Australia and the United Kingdom and was previously Chairman of the Australian Jockey Club Limited. He is Chairman of Kingsgate’s subsidiary, Akara Resources Public Company Limited.

Mr Smyth-Kirk is a CPA, a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales.

Jamie Gibson

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Mr Gibson is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kingsgate Consolidated Limited. Since joining the company in 2013, he has been instrumental in shaping corporate strategy, managing investor relations, and successfully restarting the Chatree Gold Mine.

An accomplished corporate professional, Mr Gibson has previously served as Chief Advisor in the mining portfolios (metals and coal) for the Australian Government, bringing extensive trade and investment expertise within the Asia-Pacific region. He is a Director of Akara Resources Public Company and made significant contributions when he served as a Board Member and Vice President of the Australia Thailand Business Council.

Mr Gibson holds a Master of Business Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Global Business Practice from Macquarie University, as well as a Diploma of Management from the Sydney Institute of Technology. He is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Peter Warren

Non-Executive Director

Mr Warren is a highly experienced mining professional and was Kingsgate’s Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for six years until his retirement in 2011.

He was previously Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for Equatorial Mining Limited and of the Australian subsidiaries of the Swiss-based Alusuisse Group.

Mr Warren has also held various financial and accounting positions for Peabody Resources and Hamersley Iron and is a former Director of Kingsgate’s subsidiary, Akara Resources Public Company Limited.

Mr Warren is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Kerry Stevenson

Non-Executive Director

Ms Stevenson is one of Australia’s leading commentators and advisors in the resources sector, with a strong global network and more than 20 years’ experience across Australian and international resource capital markets.

Ms Stevenson is widely recognised for her ability to connect investors with quality resource companies and for asking the questions investors need answered. She hosts the Australian Gold Conference in Sydney and Gold Coast Gold, and is a frequent panelist at leading North American and Australian resource investment events.

Ms Stevenson is also the host of the Making Money Matter podcast and interview series, and currently serves as an Advisory Board member of Kincora Copper, an ASX and TSXV-listed gold-copper explorer.

Ms Stevenson holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney.
