Mining Tools is a Windows based program used to administer the Rock Drill Workshop at your mine. Mining Tools provides a tried and trusted framework to keep a service history of all your drills and other equipment, so that a wide range of reports can be drawn, at the click of a button, reflecting statistics such as monthly costs, drills repaired, parts used, to name but a few.
Initially, you capture all the drill models in use. You also specify individual equipment, stating the serial number and in which shaft, section and gang it is used. You also enter the list of parts along with their prices. Then, every time a drill visits the workshop, the details are captured using easy point-and-click Windows methodology. The parts that were used are marked, the technician is identified and comments are added.
