United Minerals Corporation NL (UMC) is pleased to confirm the discovery of bauxite mineralisation in drill holes on the Company’s leases (100% UMC) in the North Kimberley region of Western Australia. Two Project areas were drilled, Couchman Range and Grass Hill, both areas were mineralised with Grass Hill being a new discovery. Potential for beneficiation work to increase grades. Further studies are underway. Work has been suspended for the wet season, but a program is planned for 2007 to drill the unexplored Mitchell Plateau South Project.
